Frogs (Ages 5-6) – Nature navigators
Young explorers will have the opportunity to delve into nature as we hike through Zilker Nature Preserve, meet some of ANSC’s resident animals up close, and take a journey through outer space in our planetarium.

Salamanders (Ages 7-8) – Science of the Season
Autumn is in the air, and we’re using our senses to explore the science of the season. In our nature preserve we’ll learn how the plant and animal worlds are preparing for winter. In our planetarium we’ll find out what constellations are visible in the autumn night sky. The signs and science of the season are all around us!

Pathfinders – (Ages 9-10) Hittin' the Trails
This week we’re hittin’ the trails on foot and by bike! We’ll explore local state park trails and bike around Lady Bird Lake. Bikes and helmets are provided. Campers must be able to ride a bike for 3 miles without assistance. 

Pack a lunch, a water bottle, and two healthy snacks. Participants should wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty and damp.
