Woodlawn Baptist Church - Mother's Day Out

The MDO program is a nine month weekly program for preschoolers, which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-2:00pm from September through May. We begin our year the day after Labor Day in September and end in May. We consult several local school districts’ calendars when setting our MDO school calendar, and we follow AISD for school closings and bad weather days.

The purpose of the MDO program is to provide a safe, loving, trusting environment for families with young children and to extend the ministry of the church.

The program at WBC is designed to provide a Christ-like environment to help the child develop mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally through age-appropriate activities.

We use the WEE Learn Curriculum, which is unit based and gives children daily opportunities to grow, develop, and enjoy success.
