Houston Museum of Natural Science

The Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) is a major, non-profit natural history museum located in Hermann Park, Houston, Texas. Founded in 1909, it is one of the most heavily attended museums in the United States, featuring extensive permanent halls, the Cockrell Butterfly Center, a planetarium, and an IMAX theater.
