Caldwell Treaty Oak Park

Treaty Oak Square is just large enough to contain Austin's most famous tree. The 500-year-old Treaty Oak is the last survivor of the Council Oaks, a grove of fourteen trees that is said to have been a sacred meeting place for Comanches and Tonkowas.
