Pflugerville Fire Department

Within the Risk Reduction Section, our Community (Public) Education personnel continue to gradually expand and enhance the educational resources and services offered to the public.

Hands-only CPR Training – We provide free training on hands-only CPR for groups of 10 or more people, age 12 years and up. This is a short, basic class that does not produce a certification. Classes can be scheduled at the Fire Dept. or off site.

School Visits – During October and November in honor of Fire Prevention Month, we offer special “Educate Every Little One” programming to all elementary schools and childcare centers in our jurisdiction; these visits are scheduled a few weeks in advance. The rest of the year, we take requests from schools for standard fire truck visits, Career Day presentations, and other programming.
