UMLAUF StrawFest

StrawFest is the UMLAUF's beloved annual fall festival, held each October, that has grown from a small seasonal gathering into one of Central Texas's most anticipated family traditions. Admission is entirely free for everyone, ensuring that families across Austin can come together for a full day of pumpkin painting, art-making, costume parades, and live demonstrations from local conservation groups like the WILDcenter of Texas and Austin Bat Refuge, regardless of means. The event also partners with local organizations, including Central Texas Pig Rescue and La Petite Provence, extending StrawFest's reach deeper into the community.
